Legacy Football
LEGACY Football is a sports media brand dedicated exclusively to American football, delivering live event coverage, analysis, and entertainment across television and social platforms. This project focused on branding and the development of “Gameday,” a multi-channel summer campaign designed to build excitement leading into the new NFL season through print, digital, and experiential advertising.
Brief
Create a campaign that appealed to all football fans, regardless of gender or background, while maintaining a strong sense of community, energy, and authenticity rooted in football culture. Football marketing is often heavily male-centred, which can exclude large portions of the fanbase. The off-season also provides ample opportunity to create excitement for the upcoming NFL season.
Process
The goal was to create an inclusive, high-energy campaign that captures what football fans truly want and feel on game day. The process included sketching concepts, storyboarding a promotional video, experimenting with type treatments, and testing visuals with audiences to ensure broad appeal. The final result includes a completed brand guideline, promotional posters, merchandise, experiential, digital, and print collateral, as well as a promotional video advertisement that successfully builds anticipation and community around the upcoming NFL season.
